ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF RISK I ACCEPTANCE OF RESPONSIBILITY - RELEASE OF LIABILITY I RULES FOR USE THIS DOCUMENT AFFECTS YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS. YOU MUST READ AND UNDERSTAND IT BEFORE INITIALING OR SIGNING.
PRICING AND AVAILABILITY:
Pricing and date availability is guaranteed when the event agreement is signed, an invoice has been provided, and a non-refundable deposit is paid. The deposit is 50% for bookings under £500 and 30% for bookings over £500. The remaining amount of payment is due in full 7 days before your event. The total price is dependent on the equipment hired and your location - a travel fee may apply.
PHOTOGRAPHY RELEASE:
By signing this agreement, you give "MAMI Play Events" permission to use photos of your event on our advertisements, materials, social media, and other publications deemed appropriate by "MAMI Play Events".
DELIVERY, SET-UP, TAKE DOWN, PICK-UP:
We will deliver, set up, take down, and pick up. You may not disassemble our equipment. This is to prevent damage to our equipment. Clients and event coordinators are NOT permitted to attach anything to our equipment.
The Client shall ensure that the Venue provides suitable and unrestricted access for delivery, installation, and removal of the Equipment. This includes adequate parking facilities, an appropriate entrance, and advance disclosure of any stairs, steps, or lifts. The Client acknowledges that certain Equipment, including larger inflatables, cannot be transported up or down flights of stairs, and accepts full responsibility for providing a suitable location that meets these requirements. Failure to provide adequate access may result in cancellation of the booking without refund.
If you, the renter, will not be available during delivery and pick-up, it is your responsibility to coordinate with the venue/event coordinator to ensure all items are delivered and set up in the correct location.
We will have you, the renter, or the venue or event coordinator provide verbal confirmation after setting up to ensure setup and delivery, and quality are in place.
CANCELLATION POLICY: Please be aware that once the contract is signed, and your event date scheduled, all other clients have been refused your specific rentals and services for your event date, and thus the deposit is non-refundable and all other payments are non-refundable within two weeks of your event.
All services may be cancelled if received in writing via paper, message or email no later than two weeks before the event. If it is within two weeks of the event, you are required to pay the remaining sum.
If cancelled with more than two weeks notice, you would not be obligated to pay the balance of your invoice unless you placed a custom order which was designed specifically for your event. In such cases, you would be contractually bound to pay the balance due on the account.
DAMAGE: The renter is responsible for any loss or damage to the Equipment and for their return in the same condition in which they were received, except for ordinary wear and tear. By signing this event agreement, however, lessor agrees to waive lessor’s right to recover from Renter the amount of loss of or damage to the Equipment while in Renter’s possession except that Renter will be responsible for the full amount requirement to replace damaged equipment.
RULES FOR SOFT PLAY EQUIPMENT:
Children MUST be supervised by an adult at least 18 years of age at all times.
Shoes, jewellery, and glasses MUST be removed before entering the soft play area to avoid injury.
No food, drinks, sweets, or gum is allowed in the soft play area.
No water balloons, paint, glitter, confetti, pens/pencils or face painting are allowed in or near the soft play area.
No smoking near the soft play area.
No high heels on mats.
Always make sure the soft play area stays at a sensible capacity and appropriate ages of 0-5.
No pets or sharp objects near or in the soft play area.
Adults are not allowed to SIT, STAND OR LEAN on equipment.
RULES FOR INFLATABLE EQUIPMENT (bouncy castles or bubble house):
Children MUST be supervised by an adult at least 18 years of age at all times.
Shoes, jewellery, and glasses MUST be removed before entering the soft play area to avoid injury.
No food, drinks, sweets, or gum is allowed on the inflatable.
No water balloons, paint, glitter, confetti, pens/pencils or face painting are allowed on or near the inflatable.
No smoking near the inflatable.
No high heels on mats or inflatable.
Always make sure the inflatable stays at a sensible capacity and of the appropriate ages.
No pets or sharp objects near or on the inflatable.
LIABILITY WAIVER: THERE ARE NO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS EITHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED. The person/s or organisation renting this Hire Equipment from "MAMI Play Events" will be held responsible and liable for any damage or injury occurring for any reason whatsoever. I have read the above agreement and fully understand and accept the conditions above. I am aware that while in my care I am fully responsible for the hire equipment and will pay for any loss or damages that may occur.
Lessee understands and acknowledges this equipment entails both known and unknown risks including, but not limited to, physical injury from falling, slipping, crashing, or colliding, emotional injury, paralysis, distress, damage, or death to any participant. Lessee agrees to indemnify and hold "MAMI Play Events" harmless from any claims, actions, suits, proceedings, costs, expenses, fees, damages, and liabilities, including, but not limited to, reasonable solicitor fees and costs, arising because of injury, damage, or death to persons or property, in connection with or resulting from the use of the leased equipment. This includes but is not limited to, the manufacture, selection, delivery, possession, use, operation, or return of the equipment. Lessee hereby releases and holds harmless "MAMI Play Events" from injuries or damages incurred as a result of the use of the equipment. "MAMI Play Events" cannot, under any circumstances, be held liable for injuries as a result of inappropriate use of the equipment or other conditions beyond its control or knowledge. Lessee also agrees to indemnify and hold harmless "MAMI Play Events" from any loss, damage, theft, or destruction of the equipment during the term of the hire and any extensions thereof.
ENTIRE AGREEMENT: I understand that this is the entire agreement between me and "MAMI Play Events", its agents or employees and that it cannot be modified or changed in any way by the representations or statements of any employees of "MAMI Play Events" or by me. My signature below indicates that I have read this entire document and agree to be bound by its terms.
